Course Description

This training programme is designed to offer students an opportunity to explore personal, social and vocational skills and includes a high level of integration into the local community. Underpinning this programme is New Directions, a HSE person centred service for adults with disabilities. Modules on offer are delivered in a flexible manner and include activities and methods based on a cross modular approach. All modules are delivered at QQI level 3. Designed to provide students with opportunities to learn the skills, knowledge & attitudes needed to develop personal effectiveness & self-advocacy skills, become more independent in social & vocational situations, operate in a supported community situation, progress onto further training or education.
