NLN Bray to Host Open Night

02 March 2015

Are you from Wicklow? Did you need extra support at school? Did you do the Leaving Cert Applied? Or had you a Resource or Learning Support teacher. Are wondering what to so next? We have a range of options for you. NLN in Bray is hosting a free Information Evening in their centre in Beechwood Close on the Boghall Road, Bray on Tuesday next March 3rd at 7.30pm and all are welcome. Come along and see if we have a course or programme that suits you.

For many parents with children leaving secondary school in June, this can be an anxious time.  Is their son or daughter making the right CAO choices?  Are they  going to get the points they needs to go on to third level?

But other parents will be asking a very different question: what is my child going to do from next September?  These are parents whose children had to get extra support at school, did the Leaving Cert Applied or had a Resource or Learning Support teacher. They’ll simply be wondering  what options exist for their children after the security of school.

The good news for parents is that there are plenty of options.

To help these parents, National Learning Network is hosting a free Information Evening in their centre in Beechwood Close on the Boghall Road, Bray.

It’s on March 3rd at 7.30pm and all are welcome.

Speakers from the Adult Guidance Service and other education providers will be there to answer your questions and put your fears to rest.  The supports available will also be discussed on the night... and topics like how to find work will be tackled.  So don’t lose any more sleep. Instead, inform yourself.

If you would like to get more details call National Learning Network on 01 2829643 and talk to Deborah Coughlan.
