Learn About National Learning Network at Rush Library Display
National Learning Network, which provides students with personalised supports to progress in further education and training will display its work and the services it offers at an exhibition in Rush Library from 18 – 29 November. This will culminate in a ‘Meet and Greet’ day on Friday 29 November in the library where staff from the centre will meet people interested in starting a course.
People who visit the exhibition will be able to view photographs and information on the courses offered and the type of specialist supports available and gain an understanding of the work done by National Learning Network. There are a range of rehabilitative courses on offer at the centre in Swords where the focus is on the student, their needs, abilities and goals. Training courses such as IT with Office Business Skills
and Fast Track to Employment in the Services Sector
offer students of all ages the chance to learn practical skills at their own pace and in line with their own ability. Work experience is a key element of these courses.
John Costello, Area Manager, National Learning Network in Swords says, “If you or someone you know wants to further their education or training and get back into the workforce after illness or injury, then National Learning Network may be able to offer them the supports they need. We have the knowledge and experience to support people who need a bit of extra help. Drop into the exhibition, or come along the Meet and Greet on the 29 November and we will answer all your questions.”
