Open Day at National Learning Network in Bray

Friday, 21st January 2011: Are you out of work due to accident, illness or disability? Are you finding it difficult to develop the skills you need to move forward with your career? 

National Learning Network, the training and employment division of Rehab, specialises in providing free courses for those who who may otherwise experience challenges in gaining employment.

Members of the public are now being invited to attend an Open Day at the National Learning Network centre at Beechwood Close, Boghall Road, Bray on Friday 28th January from 10am to 3pm.

Staff at the centre will be on hand to answer questions and discuss the courses and the opportunities for employment and further education, as well as eligibility criteria. Visitors will also be able to tour the centre and see the facilities available to students.

In Bray, National Learning Network currently caters for over 60 students from the town and the surrounding area. Learners are offered a variety of courses, all of which carry nationally and internationally recognised certification (FETAC, ECDL, etc). Courses include Information Technology, Retail Sales, Employer Based Training and Information Technology both centre-based and by distance learning, all of which are funded by FÁS. The centre also provides the rehabilitative training programmes, Access, which is funded by the HSE.
