18 October 2010

National Learning Network has been named as 'The Most Accessible Website' at the 2010 Irish Web Awards, which took place at the Mansion House, Dublin on Saturday, 16th October. The Irish Web Awards recognises excellence in website design and development. This year, over 700 different websites were nominated in the different award categories.

The National Learning Network website, which was developed by X-Communications, was launched at the end of 2009 following an extensive consultation process with staff. The judges were impressed not only by the standard of web content accessibility but also by the site's clear and consistent navigation which facilitates ease of use for all visitors.

The site features detailed information on each National Learning Network centre including a location map, as well as information on all the courses on offer at centres. Other features include Frequently Asked Questions for potential students and employers, case studies from learners and all the latest news from National Learning Network.

It's an award-winning one-stop-shop for everything you need to know about National Learning Network!
