National Learning Network strives for excellence in provision of its training and educational services and places a strong emphasis on continuous improvement.
National Learning Network uses the EFQM Business Excellence model as the framework for its management structures and achieved the Recognised for Excellence award in 2008, 2010 and 2013.
We have also achieved the European Quality in Social Services award (EQUASS) in all its training locations. EQUASS is a European quality mark that recognises excellence in rehabilitation services.
National Learning Network is a recognised provider of QQI awards in its own right and offers a wide range of awards at Levels 2 to 6 on the National Qualifications Framework. Our programmes are monitored and evaluated externally by QQI, FÁS and by the HSE.
All National Learning Network training centres have been accredited to the national standard for Training and Development for People with Disabilities QAOO/01.We achieved the Excellence through People Gold Standard award in 2006 and 2009.
Under its Continuous Improvement Review (CIR) each training centre carries out a detailed self evaluation of its training activities annually. Assessors, who have completed formal training programmes with the National Standards Authority of Ireland (NSAI), visit 10/12 National Learning Network locations annually. An evaluation report detailing strengths and areas for improvement is issued to the location involved and to senior management. It is also used in planning.
