National Learning Network strongly believed in students being able to express their needs and goals.

The National Representative Council (NRC) enables National Learning Network students to play a full role in decisions made about the services that they receive. At a local level, each training centres has a Local Representative Committee (LRC) to facilitate communication between the organisation and students.

The Charter of Rights, which is provided to students in all locations, sets out details fo students' rights and responsibilities including those relating to communication and advocacy.
